Science Week
As part of National Science week St.Joseph’s have been looking at life cycles. We’ve been watching caterpillars grow into chrysalis’ and we are waiting for the butterflies to emerge, we are also currently waiting for our tadpoles to grow into frogs.
We looked after twelve eggs which arrived in an incubator and watched eight cute cuddly chicks hatch over a few days. Each class spent time looking after and observing these chicks, as you can see from the photographs they got very used to being handled.
They are now living out their lives on a free range farm. Fish arriving soon !
