School Closure - Letter to Parents
During school closure we wish to minimise disruption to learning as much as possible. We have sent your child home with a Home Learning Pack and addition to this they should access the following on a daily basis in order to continue with their learning:
· Classroom Secrets Kids - By logging on with their username and password daily, they can access learning for Reading/Phonics, Maths and some other subjects depending on their year group.
· Timestable Rockstars and Numbots – spend at least 15 minutes per day practicing your times tables (see other websites below also)
· Purple Mash - Pupils can also access spelling and grammar, maths and project work activities, and once logged on your child will see that have been assigned work by their teacher called a ‘2do’
· Reading Plus – **Year 5 and 6 only** – important to access this daily
Please see your child’s Reading Record for their personal login details to all of the above accounts.
In addition to this (and to fully compliment their learning), below is list of education companies offering free subscriptions due to school closures. All you need to do is follow the instructions on their websites to sign-up.
